Overview

Our power doesn’t begin or end on Election Day.
The decisions made in our communities shape where we live, how we work, how safe we feel, the opportunities available to our families and what comes next.
The Power Is Ours connects the issues affecting Black communities across Seattle and King County to the systems and decisions shaping them, and provides clear ways for all of us to turn awareness into action.
Voting matters. But civic power also lives in what we know, the questions we ask, the conversations we join, the decisions we show up for and the people we bring with us.
