Thank you for your interest in supporting the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle. Gifts from constituents, friends, corporations, foundations, and the local, state, and federal government play an essential role in our ability to fulfill our mission to provide high quality services and support for African American and other underrepresented communities in Metropolitan Seattle and throughout the Puget Sound Region. Whether participating in the ULMS Fund, providing funds for housing to those who have been evicted and/or would like to own a home, supporting financial literacy, creating employment opportunities or education and health initiatives that are a hallmark of a developing society — your commitment is essential to our success, and the success of our community.
Impact Of Giving
Throughout ULMS’ history, philanthropic giving has played a central role in our organizations’ ability to fulfill its mission. For more than eighty years, a selfless group of friends have devoted their time, talent and treasure to launching and developing one of the most comprehensive programs in Washington state to address housing, education, health and economic empowerment. Gifts of every size have helped make the Urban League into one of the world’s leading non-profit organizations in the state. From annual support of the ULMS Fund, which touches every aspect of the Urban League, and bequests that benefit future generations to endowment gifts and special event participation, every contribution makes a meaningful impact on the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle and our constituents who go on to shape the world.
