Short on time? Try Career Bridge Advantage!

Are you interested in Career Bridge but don’t have the time? Career Bridge Advantage (CBA) may be a better alternative! CBA serves as an accelerated version of the traditional Career Bridge program to help individuals with an urgency to re-enter the workforce in less than 6 weeks.

Career Bridge Advantage (CBA) is an accelerated program, meaning  In addition, CBA does not offer the opportunity to earn any of the certifications offered through Career Bridge.

Here are some additional key differences between Career Bridge and Career Bridge Advantage:

  • An Emphasis On Housing: CBA focuses only on individuals who are experiencing homelessness with the goal to provide these individuals with opportunities to gain consistent, live-able wages and to ultimately, meet standard requirements for permanent housing.
  • One-on-One Experience: Because CBA is an accelerated program, participants do not have to enroll or participate in a 6 week cohort class in order to receive CBA services. CBA is tailored to the individual’s needs and begins with immediately pairing each participant with a Job Developer who will help the participant connect with employers and work toward meeting job application requirements.

Career Bridge Advantage participants many include any individual who meets the following requirements:

  • Currently Experiencing Homelessness (this means your name cannot be on an active leasing agreement in the state of Washington)
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

CBA is open to any individual with a diverse background, including but not limited to:

  • Those who are formerly justice involved
  • Veterans
